Mit voller Kappelle trat die Spielgemeinschaft SC Siemensstadt und Stahl Brandenburg am Samstag, den 10.10. bei der zweiten Vertretung des RK03 in Weißensee an. Bei der letzten Begegnung gab es ein sehr gutes, enges Spiel, deshalb war man auch nach guter Trainingsbeteiligung in der Woche guter Dinge. Zumal mit 22 Spielern und vielen Neulingen der gut gekleidete Trainer Raffi viele Optionen hatte. Jedoch merkte man gleich zu Beginn, dass die SG mental noch nicht auf dem Platz war und so konnte der RK insbesondere durch die gut eingespielte und starke Hintermannschaft gleich zu Beginn einige Male im Malfeld eintauchen. Auch im Anschluss ließ der RK nicht locker und bot den zahlreichen Zuschauern bei schönstem Herbstwetter ein sehr ansehnliches Rugby. Die SG selbst kam in der ersten Hälfte erst spät zu Akzenten und konnte auch einmal im Malfeld des Gegners ablegen, jedoch ging der Ball durch Dr. Jörg beim Ablegen nach vorne. Beim Halbzeitstand von 26-0 versuchte Raffi die Männer wach zu rütteln, was in der 2. Halbzeit zumindest phasenweise auch gelang. Positiv zu sehen ist die Vielzahl an neuen Spielern, die ihr erstes oder zweites Spiel für die SG absolviert haben und langsam an die Härte und den Spielfluss herangeführt werden müssen. Außerdem kam die Spielgemeinschaft noch einigen Sturmphasen noch zum Ehrenversuch vom Capitano Maurice nach Vorarbeit von Khalil. Mathieu erhöhte souverän. Gute Besserung auch auf diesem Wege an den verletzten Spieler von RK, um den sich u.a. auch unser Doktor Richi auf dem Platz gekümmert hat.

Endstand 62-7 nach einer doch enttäuschenden Leistung der SG. Nun heißt es Mund abwischen und gut trainieren, bevor es in zwei Wochen gegen die andere SG der Grizzlies und Bruisers geht.

The SC Siemensstadt und Stahl Brandenburg football team competed with a full band at the second representation of the RK03 in Weißensee on Saturday, 10 October. The last match was a very good, close game, so even after a good training participation the week was full of good things. Especially since with 22 players and many newcomers the well dressed coach Raffi had many options. However, right at the beginning it was clear that the SG was not mentally on the field yet and so the RK could dive into the Malfeld a few times right at the beginning, especially because of the well-rehearsed and strong back team. Also in the following the RK did not let up and offered the numerous spectators a very respectable rugby in beautiful autumn weather. The SG itself came late to accents in the first half and was also able to pass once in the opponent’s Malfeld, but the ball went forward through Dr. Jörg while passing. At the half-time score of 26-0, Raffi tried to shake the men awake, which was at least partially successful in the 2nd half. On the positive side, the large number of new players who have played their first or second game for the SG and who need to be slowly introduced to the hardness and flow of the game. In addition, the team was given a few more storm phases to honor the efforts of Capitano Maurice after preparatory work by Khalil. Mathieu raised confidently. Good recovery to the injured player of RK, who was also taken care of by our doctor Richi on the court.

The score was 62-7 after a disappointing performance of the SG. Now it’s time to wipe your mouth and train well, before you have to play against the other SG of the Grizzlies and Bruisers in two weeks.

Unsere Männer greifen am kommenden Samstag, den 10.10.20 zusammen mit dem Stahl Brandenburg im Berlin Regio Cup wieder an.

Diesmal wird auswärts um 15 Uhr gegen die zweite Mannschaft von RK03 angegriffen.
Während der zwei wöchigen Spielpause konnte der SCS weiterhin am Spielsystem und den Calls arbeiten.

This time they will attack away at 15 o’clock against the second team of RK03.

„Endlich wieder Rugbyspielen“ – hieß es am Samstag, den 26. September in der Klinikallee in Brandenburg nach zehnmonatiger Durststrecke. Unsere Spielgemeinschaft SCS / Stahl Brandenburg traf bei strömenden Dauerregen auf die junge Garde vom BRC im Rahmen des ersten Spiels des Berlin Cups. Leider war kein Schiedsrichter anwesend, aber auf Seiten des BRC fand sich spontan ein Regelrichter ein und so konnte es losgehen. Insbesondere in der ersten Halbzeit entwickelte sich ein packendes Duell und es ging hin und her. Leider konnte die SG 2-3 gute Versuchsmöglichkeiten nicht in Zählbares ummünzen, einmal war der Ball im Paket schon über die Linie, konnte aber nicht abgelegt werden. Der BRC kam selbst zu einem Strafkick u einem Versuch über die Stürmer und so hieß es 0-8 zur Halbzeit.

In der zweiten Halbzeit setzte sich der BRC dann doch deutlich durch, auch aufgrund von fehlender Struktur bei der SG, hatte man doch nur ein gemeinsames Training vorher absolviert. So hieß es am Ende 0-35. Hervorzuheben bleibt, dass auf unserer Seite insgesamt 6 Neulinge ihr erstes Spiel absolvierten und nun erste Erfahrungen auf dem Platz sammeln konnten. In zwei Wochen geht es dann weiter beim RK03.

Am Abend trafen sich noch einige Spieler bei unserem Sponsor dem Finnegan’s Iris Pup  und analysierten natürlich die ein oder andere Spielsituation.

„Rugby games again at last“ – was the motto on Saturday, September 26 in the Klinikallee in Brandenburg after a ten-month dry spell. Our team SCS / Stahl Brandenburg met the young guard from the BRC during the first game of the Berlin Cup in pouring continuous rain. Unfortunately, no referee was present, but on the BRC side, a referee spontaneously arrived and so it could start. Especially in the first half time a gripping duel developed and it went back and forth. Unfortunately, the SG 2-3 could not convert good attempts into countable ones. Once the ball in the package was already over the line, but could not be put down. The BRC himself came to a penalty kick and a try over the forwards and so it was 0-8 at half time.

In the second half, the BRC prevailed clearly, also due to the lack of structure in the SG, as they had only had one training session together before. It was 0-35 at the end of the game, and it should be emphasized that a total of 6 newcomers played their first game on our side and were now able to gain their first experience on the pitch. In two weeks we will continue with RK03.

In the evening some more players met at our sponsor the Finnegan’s Iris Pup and analyzed of course the one or other game situation.
